The SF Bay NERR’s mission is to improve understanding and stewardship of the estuary, with a broader relevance to the ecosystems beyond the Golden Gate. The tidal marshes at RushRanch and China Camp serve as research sites for scientists; classrooms for teachers, land managers and naturalists; and inspiring places for Bay Area residents to visit. Our partners, colleagues, volunteers, and event participants play a critical role in San Francisco Bay NERR’s programming and activities. Please let your voice be heard and contribute to shaping the Reserve’s future.

This public meeting and comment period are part of the federal performance evaluation of the San Francisco Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (Reserve). This evaluation is conducted every five years pursuant to the federal Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972, as amended.

Written comments should be emailed to Carrie Hall at Carrie.Hall@noaa.gov no later than August 20, 2021.
