Davidson Fellowship Opportunity

The Margaret A. Davidson Graduate Fellowship is new two-year fellowship program that will place one graduate student at each of the 29 national estuarine research reserves. The call for applications for the 2022-2024 Cohort is expected to go out in the summer of 2021 with a fellowship start date of Fall 2022.

Eligible applicants must be admitted to or enrolled in a full-time graduate program working to obtain a master’s or doctoral degree. Applicants must have at least two years remaining in their academic course of study to apply. Pending congressional appropriations, NOAA anticipates an annual budget for each student of $34,000 stipend and $7,000 for professional development travel, and an annual budget for each reserve of approximately $7,000 to support equipment and supplies for the fellow’s research.
